Founder

Renato Saltz, MD: President of the Board and Medical Director was an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah for 10 years. He is board certified in both plastic and general surgery and a fellow of the american college of surgeons. HE has taught and practiced plastic & reconstructive surgery for the past 16 years. He is the current secretary for the American Society for Aesthetic Surgery and the General Secretary for the International Society of Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Saltz has worked very closely with breast cancer survivors in their reconstructive process and helped spearhead cancer support groups in Utah. He has the medical knowledge and leadership capabilities to guide Image Reborn to achieve its goals.

Executive Director

Donna Creighton, B.S. and M.Ed., is the Executive Director of Image Reborn. She brings with her years of experience as an educator, marketer, facilitator, business owner, and fundraiser. Donna is also a two-time breast cancer survivor herself and has facilitated many support groups for breast cancer patients since her first diagnosis in 1990. She then became very active in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, serving as Chair of the Volunteer Committee and then as Race Chair for the Race for the Cure®. She later was nominated and served on the National Board of Directors of the Foundation. Donna brings with her years of leadership experience as well as compassion and sensitivity to her role as Executive Director.

Board of Directors

Judy H. Brophy: Judy is a 20 year breast cancer survivor. Over the past 10 years she has worked as a peer to peer counselor with women diagnosed with breast cancer. She has served on the Race Committee for the Salt Lake City Race for the Cure, Chaired their Survivor Luncheon for 2 years, and Co-Chaired the Rally for the Cure at Park City Golf Course.

Val Deming

Tracee Lolofie has been involved with Image Reborn since it began in 2000. She began as a committe member for the annual fundraiser and became a board member in 2001. Tracee has also served as a PTA President for her daughter's elementary school and continues to volunteer for the PTSA at Bonneville Junior High, and Cottonwood High School. She has also volunteered for the Kalama Mohala Foundation and Dream Foundation. In 2004 Tracee received the Woman of Distinction Award from the Consociates Auxiliary/Assistance League of SLC.

Sylvia Rickard is a two time breast cancer survivor and a 12 year breast cancer advocate. She is the Utah Field Coordinator and Legislative Leader for the National Breast Cancer Coalition. She is serving as the US Community Representative on the steering committee for NCI's Cooperative Family Registry for High Risk Breast Cancer Studies. She is also on the South West Advisory Committee for Redes En Accion, Chair the Utah Dept of Health Ethnic Health Advisory Committee and serves on the Utah Cancer Action Network. She serves on various National, State and Local organizations which are centered on reducing cancer health disparities and burden. Sylvia is currently serving on the Image Reborn Board of Directors.

Sheila Tucker, R.N., M.S.N., Program Assistant for Image Reborn. Planning coordinator for the University of Utah Medical Services for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Ms. Tucker's expertise in patient education and staff development are invaluable to Image Reborn. She also acts as a medical consultant and liaison between Image Reborn and several local hospitals and physicians.
